Not many months ago I availed myself of a doll rental service in Japan. Unlike 15 years ago, when they were like 7-11s, now there is only, er... a handful, and I only know of one. Anyway, the worst part of the experience (there were many good parts) were the sleeves. Total crap. I'm talking $2000 to 10,000 (dollars not yen)  life-size silicon partners, with or without skeletons (but fortunately soulless for what I did to them).  Yet they appear to have spent more R&R on the eyelashes than the part that counts. Did I spell that right?

Doll designers have to learn to work with masturbator designers and legislators to discourage rape and STDs (and as a side effect cause more divorces). I see a market for something *between* $300 and $8000. Some limbs, a changeable face, and award winning interior design. Just keep in mind that the Japanese are anatomically different than westerners. It's not a myth. Why aren't the best minds of science working on this (solo sex machines not dick size) and expanding to Walmart? Whatever your fantasy is, the Japanese cater to it. Three-year old male donkeys from Mars in bondage? What colour do you want?

I bought a doll insert onahole (over USD 200) from one of Tokyo's top doll manufacturer's (there are better ones, but these guys dominate the market) and I tore it apart in something like 25 sessions. My supposedly 50-use Tenga lasted longer, and felt better. The doll insert was too small, and I am not Frankenstein. This was despite buying the biggest size. Yet Fleshlight caters to the Texan mindset. Couldn't we meet somewhere in the middle, say *mid*-sized inserts for plastic ten-year old donkeys from earth in maid's outfits?

I still can't imagine myself buying a $8-10k doll and have a crappy onahole that comes with it.. ugh...!!  that almost defeats the whole purpose.

Hah, yes, this lack of insert quality is something I have noticed.  I spent the last month researching bigger silicone and TPE dolls (TPE is a common material for onaholes too).  I chose one particular vendor and found 3 dolls I liked.  It surprised me that they didn't advertise a single photo of the "love hole" textures.  In fact, no vendor I found did.  They publish dozens of photos of the dolls in (and out of) different outfits, with different hair and different heads.  But none of the inside textures.  I guess that shows where their priorities lie.

I had to ask just to confirm that the holes even had textures.  I was told that each entry point on a doll has a unique texture, but I learned that, at least in some cases, these textures are shared among different dolls from the same manufacturer.  For instance, two of the dolls I was looking at were from the same manufacturer, but one was 100cm tall and the other 140cm tall.  I was told they share the same textures.  It seems if you want texture variety, you have to buy another doll of a different brand.

Of the three dolls I was looking at, only one has the option of an insertable sleeve, and only for the vagina.  This is not to enable variety (I asked, they do not have alternative textured inserts!).  This is to make cleaning easier, and to make it possible to replace the sleeve if it eventually degrades from use.  They had a picture of the texture of this insert. It is longer and with a larger inner circumference than a typical onahole, which is probably a good thing for my western dick.  They had no other texture pictures, just this one.  Across three dolls, with 9 holes and 6 distinct textures.  One picture.  Those priorities... 

I finally decided to buy a $2k model, the one with the insertable vagina sleeve.  This particular insert style is completely internal and I have never seen an onahole quite like it, so I doubt I will be able to find a compatible replacement with a different texture.
