I've been thinking about getting a new hip but I can't decide between a closed hip (like Meiki Alice or Olivia), or an open hip (Pure Hip or Half Hera)
Can someone give a comparison?  I mean there are some pretty obvious pros and cons like
Open Pros:
easy to clean

Closed Pros:
Better suction () I don't own an open hip so I can't do a comparison myself.

Any other feedback?
And after choosing your preferred hip, could you help me decide between Alice or Olivia, or Pure hip or Hera?  I can't decide between these 4.

Olivia is actually a through hole "open ended" hip.

Up this topic because I think open hip are very bad.
I bought the Meiki Pure Hip and yes, it's a very good toy, but the open holes cause a lot of problem when you cum...If you buy toys with open holes, you know what to expect.

Definitely easier to clean compared to a closed hole toy...a suggestion is to lay down a towel first else it might leak

I agree with Sir Lord Hard Gay. Open holes are a lot easier to clean. The towel is a good ideal. Not just to keep stuff sanitary but to protect your toy as well from whatever surface it's on.

A towel is ok if you use the toy on the bed (and if you live alone...). If you want be seated, then is a mess.
I think if someone wants a sex toy easy to clean, so it should avoid the hips and use fleshlight and similar.
In my opinion what is relevant in a sex toy is the pleasure which gives. About the clean, this is secondary. I prefer to stay 1-2 minutes more to clean a sex toy with closed holes than the 30-60 seconds required by the ones with open holes. The toy with open holes also give less sensation and excitement.

@hardgay: It seems to me you have both meiki pure hip/kourin and meiki extreme pleasure hip. Please, can you answer me in this topic?

Open hip is easy. Just use polystyrene tape to seal the opening when in use.

I disagree with open hip.  You can lay down a towel or use something to close the end, but it can be uncomfortable reaching the end or hitting the device used to seal the end.  I also just hate it when I poke out through the end.  I have the meiki pure hip and the "mom is breaking my cherry" hip (similar to the gokujo namagoshi/ extreme pleasure hip) and while both are enjoyable in their own ways the "mom is breaking my cherry" hip wins because it is a full hip (not a flat half hip) with better internals, softer, closed hole and it makes up for the cleaning by having shorter canals.  It's fine for me as I don't have a huge member (just over 5 in.) and the closed end cradles me very nicely.  I also don't have to worry about poking through the holes in ANY positions, a problem I found i had with the pure hip as I would poke through in the cowgirl positions and when going ham on the hip.
