So I bought my first japan-import toy recently, a Meiki ZXY. I have tried it a couple of times, and it seems I have made a big mistake, especially since I did not get it until after the last sale was over. I am using a lot of Sliquid H20, a highly recommended water-based lube, but it seems no matter how much I re-apply it, it quickly becomes uncomfortable/unpleasant to use the ZXY for more than a "quickie." I am uncircumcised, average length (not sure exactly, but only around 6", the average for American males), and it seems either I am doing something wrong or the ZXY is just too rough for me. I also find it quite annoying that despite being only average, it is too short, and I end up ramming into the top of it, which I do not find comfortable either.

Previously, I have only used Fleshlights (not for a couple of years though), and I did not have this problem with any of the ones I owned, except for the STU, which was way too tight/uncomfortable for me. With everyone talking about how soft and realistic ALL the meikis are compared to other toys, I assumed even the "more intense" ZXY would still be at least as gentle as the less-intense Fleshlights (Original, Wonder Wave), but it certainly does not feel that way to me! Even my old Speed Bump (an intense fleshlight) was not this rough. And the Fleshlight Girls are supposed to be made of softer material than the original Pink fleshlights (the ones I had). Even the first times I used a Fleshlight, I did not have this problem, so it is not because I am not used to it either.

Not trying to offend anyone, but the male-sex-toy discussion seems to be of poor quality everywhere online, including at ToyDemon. I cannot even begin to count how many times I have seen people compare a toy to "the meiki," or "their fleshlight," or "a tenga flip hole." When comparing toys, there is no such thing as "your fleshlight." There are several categories of fleshlights: freaks, blade, sex-in-a-can, ice, pink, fleshlight girls, and each of those categories are not only very different in of themselves, but also offer a large variety of different textures of vastly different attributes. Same with the Meikis, same with the Tengas, same with many others. It is completely unhelpful to say "this toy is so much better than my tenga flip hole because of A, B, C," because every tenga flip hole has significantly different A, B, C, and you did not tell us which tenga flip hole you have!

It is annoying because I probably could have figured out the ZXY was not for me without wasting $90 on it if these thousands of toy reviews/comparisons all over the internet were a lot more specific, instead of using so much hyperbole language ("I bought X very specific outdated, bottom-of-the-line model 10 years ago of one specific line of one specific brand of toys, but I am not going to tell you the model or even the line of models it was from, nor that it was 10 years ago, but I will go ahead and state the whole brand is complete trash compared to this brand-new top-of-the-line toy from this other brand I am reviewing now"...or vice versa). The vast majority of reviews of every single brand seem to do this. It makes me wonder if all the brands have their employees spreading propaganda against all the other brands.

So with that rant over, can anyone give any actually helpful information? Are there any toys that both have longer canals and are not as rough (roughness and sensation intensity are two different things) as the ZXY, besides the latest Fleshlight Girls?

I use to use Sliquid H20 with my fleshlights and tengas. Upon getting my ZXY I switched over to other lubes which have made the experiences i have had so much better. Im currently using Pepee lube. Thicker is better far as in concerned and does not wear out like the thinner stuff, and stays where it needs to be, which is inside the toy.

Also with the ZXY i cannot use it unless I'm doing it hands free which takes me into a whole nother world. Switch the lube game up and go hands free if you are not and see if that helps you any.

I had the same experience with the xyz . So I tried using different lubes and the one that worked for me was the tenga real. All my other lube were very thin so my best advice for you is to try using  thicker lube and see how that works.

Also, 90 dollars for the xyz is pretty expensive . I got mine for $60 here.

Compared to other Meiki's, the ZXY is one of the larger ones, so you probably shouldn't get the others like the Sarah or the YJY.

We are going to need a better explanation between what you mean by roughness vs. sensation intensity. Usually the rougher materials create more sensation. It sounds like you are trying saying that the ZXY material is too hard, which results in overstimulation. So I would suggest you stick with single layer products.

I have never used a fleshlight so I won't be able to do any comparisons for you.

I still don't own a fleshlight, so I can't give you any great comparison here but I have seen a fleshlight in person before and as far as length of the product goes, if your looking for a product that will take the full length of your package. Then none of the meiki's will be able to do it since you already have ZXY to know this, the rest of the series are pretty much around the same length. One thing I'd suggest is definitely double check the dimension of the toy before you pluck down high dollars so there won't be any issue with length 

As far as item being too rough, like others have suggested, probably go with another lube and see if it's better. From the sound of your experience if the lube drys up fast then it'll definitely create more rough and higher stimulation with the interior of the toy doing rubbing instead of gliding if you know what I mean. I'd suggest something like the bliss lotion, ozawa lotion or onatsuyu lotion. They are pretty good and last a long time as most Japanese lubes. One thing I find with the Japanese lube that they last longer. When washing excess lube off my hands, the Japanese lotions takes slighly longer to get rid of compared to some of the western lubes. The lubes gets more slippery as you try to rinse it off...then it gets washed away while lubes like astroglide, id glide will get washed off instantly when you rinse.

Try the lubes first..if it's still too rough, then yeah..go with something that's single layer, the Meiki's are pretty soft as it is, i would say if you want something even more soft in terms of material..probably the clone meiki series, but even at that, those are pretty short in length. good luck~
