Meiki Plush Questions
« on: October 05, 2014, 07:35:25 AM »
Hi there, I just got a Meiki Plush, and I was wondering if it's safe to use any kind of perfume on it? I also use a fleshlight with it, which leaves the inside messy. What would be a good way to clean that out?

That's what I was thinking when I read this.  The only thing I can think of is you were using it with the cap loose for less suction.  If this is the case, you just have to tighten the cap.  Or you could wrap a plastic bag around the whole thing I guess.

If you did get lube and uh, other stuff all up in there, I'm not sure how you would clean it out.  Maybe paper towels and a lot of patience?

Most of the plush dolls are made of some kind of poly materials or cotton, I would just use some upholstery cleaner on it, the kind meant for furniture. Should be fine with some cloths cleaning products as well. Hey might even wanna go with a carpet steamer to really get a deep cleaning done. I used it on a large stuffed tiger once came out fresh and clean took like a day to fully dry out tho. Would not recommend fully submerging it in water it will almost never dry out.  :P

Yes, I had the cap off, otherwise the sleeve makes these horrible noises and sometimes gets sucked into the sleeve. I've found that a sock over the end of the sleeve, with the cap loosened, helps with the airflow problem. I've also put some corn starch down into the sleeve pocket, to help prevent any kind of mildew/mold from any stray lube. Also owning a shop vac with a blower attachment helps for drying the inside, if you ever need to!  ;D
