Wellp, I'm starting to run out of lube that came with my first pair of toys, so I happened to hop on the site and take a look. The first thing that I thought of was Wow, isn't lube just lube? Why are there so many varieties?"
Although I supposed there were minor differences; The packets of lube that came with mine were noticeably different - the first being relatively thick and kind of sticky. The other had a much, much thinner viscosity, and was a bit messier as a result.

Other than viscosity, what differences do some lubes have to others? Scents, I guess? Why does Pepee lotion come in so many varieties? hnngggrr 

And most importantly, which are most recommended?

hah..i suppose that's the same question why is there so many different variety of ID glide lotions when it comes to local lubes.. currently my favorite lubes are still Ozawa love lotion, fun factory toy fluid and onatsuyu lotion. based on viscosity and how long they last without having to re-lube.

Could it be that some thicknesses work better with different sleeve textures?

i think this one is to each his own... I personally don't like lube super thin and watery so when i'm stroking it's not stimulating enough..of course if I use the right toy it'll be perfect.. my best combination arsenal of choice is Meiki Plush Doll + Onatsuyu Lotion + Monster Wet Real / Julia + / Meiki ZXY
