I've used several FL's over the years (WW, STU, Torrid, Swallow, Mini-lotus) but stumbled across the Meiki's while looking at reviews for another FL.  I have really enjoyed the FL's, particularly the newer material of the FLGs line and still think they are a good product -- my personal fav's  1. Torrid, 2. Mini-lotus, 3. Swallow; but I haven't found one that gives a super realistic feeling -- properly lubed mini-lotus is probably the closest.  So, after much reading of the rave reviews for the Meiki's I decided to try the ZXY instead of getting another FL.   

I'm average to little above average in length and girth and I've only used the ZXY once but here's my initial thoughts.

First, warmed it up in a bowl of hot running water for 10 - 15 minutes --- it was pretty warm, but still slightly cool at the deepest points.  A little annoying that it takes this long to warm it up. 

Next, dried off most of the water,  lubed it  up with a generous amount of a good water based lubed and some water based warming lube.  I initially went at it standing with the ZXY sitting on the edge of the bed; it felt very rough, not too tight, but the first internal hump -- the g-spot maybe? -- felt uncomfortably rough.  Added some more lube and it was a little better but still a bit uncomfortable. 

So, I flipped it over and tried it "doggy-style".  Wow, what a difference, very impressive how different the sensations were just by flipping it -- felt much better but still not better than a fleshlight. 

Added some more lube and tried it in a couple of different "cow-girl" and "reverse cow-girl" angles.  At certain angles the sensation was pretty impressive, but it seemed hit or miss of which angles were good and which ones felt too rough.

Added a little more lube, layed it on the bed slightly propped up and tried it missionary.  And all I could say was WOW.. Finally, I started to believe all the other reviews.  The realism was pretty amazing in this position, definitely surpassed the FL's.  An added bonus was that it didn't slide around when using it hands-free this way like the fleslight does.  After a bit of edging in missionary I finished and was pretty satisfied.

All-in-all it was pretty good but I think it'll take a few more rounds to find what really feels the best.  An after thought, I might try a thicker lube or dry the inside more thoroughly after warming it, incase the lube was getting thinned out by the left over water. 

Anyone else have a similar first experience?

Thanks for the rating. I have also ordered the zxy yesterday and today would be sent. I'm right good thick water-based lubricant with it ordered. I also like not rough, but maybe this is just the first times when using? How is it now?

I was the first to doubt between Mary and the zxy but have yet to the zxy chosen because it's not much more expensive and I did have to pay and free shipping at the maria though. and for the difference of 4 euros I could not pass up the zxy. I also read that you could use the zxy hands-free because of the weight of 770 grams and de maria seems to me weaker and lighter.

I agree with you Viper69.

A brand new Meiki ZXY is too tight and hard.  This makes everything feel almost too rough/intense as a result.
As you use it more though, and the materials loosen up a bit, which will make it a better product for you.

However, that said, it is the intensity that makes people love it.  It feels like it grips your member tightly and massages it.

With that said, for your preferences for a softer yet still very realistic sensation, I suggest you get the Meiki Yen Jyu Yi (that is, incidentally, the only other Meiki I have).  I also heard good things about the Rola Misaki.

I personally prefer the ZXY myself, but at the end of the day, which Meiki you like comes down to matching a product with your desired sensitivity and needs.

Another thought just crossed my mind.  What kind of lube are you using?
I found with the generic US lubes like astroglide and stuff, it was an honestly disappointing experience.
With the thicker and stringy Japanese lubes, it was a real pleasure.

Well Ive used it 2 times and I have to say that the feeling is less desirable than my other toys. I kinda prefer the sensation from softer material like the single layer meikis.
