I can say ......it's worth it because it's really fun playing with friends and now people all over the world at almost no lag what so ever. I remember back in the days when I played Mario Kart on DS against people in Japan... I see them lag and all of a sudden they're like half a lap ahead of me... and like Daaabear ...I thought i was a mario kart pro! As for getting consoles and if they're wroth buying with only a few games that you'd want to play.... my answer to that is..if you get enough hours of enjoyment out of it..even 1 game is worth it... Here's my past experience..with buying console in the below orderBought & Games PlayedNintendo DS 2 Games (Mario Kart DS, Zoo Keeper)Wii 1 Game (Monster Hunter Tri)PS3 2 Games (Lost Planet 2, Red Dead Redemption) ....and watched some blueray moviesNintendo 3DS 1 Game (Mario Golf)Wii U 2 Games (Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate, Mario Kart As you can see...I bought 5 consoles to play.....8 games. but it's not always about the cost of these things..it truly is about the enjoyment you get out of it. I have a group of friends that we play alot of co-op games together, and that's where all the fun is, enjoying the game together and chat on skype etc..having a ball laughing at the stupid things each other does... at least to me, it's make buying all these games worth every penny~ I really don't buy any single player games, it's just plain boring.
