It is natural of someone to shy away from silicon toys every once in a while. As the saying goes: Everything in moderation.

Using too much of a toy or too many toys will simply wear you out and then that hand of yours will seem like the better choice.
With the hand, there's no lube required (but you can if you like) and cleanup is a breeze! Not fit it inside-out and soap this, dry that and store it away whatnots.

Let the mood strike, there's nothing wrong with that and it is times when you want to use a toy where you'll see your investments come to fruition.

I'm new to toys. So far I've tried sleeves, and I can't see myself going back to doing it without.

You can't compare toys to real sex, toys are just enhancing masturbation. I really like toys precisely because there's a disconnect to the hand. So there's an illusion that the sensation I'm getting isn't from me. How each sleeves feels, is secondary. I have the tendency to shower after, so cleaning up is not a hassle.

As for sex with a woman, being with the right person would be to memories for a lifetime. It's heaven on Earth. But having it with wrong ones can kill any and all your healthy sex appetite for months. Bad ones can downright make you feel miserable and leaving you depressed. So, sex with a woman, is different from masturbation. I see toys as enhancement of masturbation; hips and dolls ( which I haven't try ) as luxury pillows, or blankets, or whatever it is that we've used in our developed habits. Sex with a person, is a separate thing all together. But one can definitely prefer celibacy for whatever reason, and have fun with toys.

On a side note. So far, my favorite is the Marc Dorcel Double Ended sleeve, which feels nothing like a vagina. I use it with a few rubber bands, and like it far more than the rest I've tried. I've tried all Tengas, which surprisingly, were all extremely disappointing except for a couple of the 3D sleeve ( which are just okay ). Meikino Hinkaku is good, but nowhere near as good as I was expecting. I've discovered when it comes to toys, it's down fit and and preferences.

I guess I shouldn't be answering this thread since I'm still new to this. But I highly doubt I would eventually lose interest, or find it a hassle. To keep me interested, I'll just need new porn. But I can definitely see myself eventually discarding almost all my toys except for a couple, and having no interest in trying new toys, but just repurchase the two that I do keep around. I'll only go back to my old ways when I travel.

Toys are just too good.
