Hello,

I'm hoping that someone could give me some purchase suggestions. I have a Meiki Maria, which unfortunately had the lifespan of a week. It has now a slight tear and while I hope I can fix it, I'm not too convinced I will be able to.

I realize it was the one described as the most durable out of the bunch, but I unfortunately received one with a off-center canal, so that is probably what caused it.

Now the question is, which of the remaining 8 numbered Meiki, are perhaps better constructed so that they last a reasonable amount of time? I'm probably not going to get them right away, but I want to know what I should be looking at for when I do.

I can accept tears at the front because that is to be expected, but the ones at the side are messed up and render the entire toy useless.

Of the Meiki brand, the ZXY is the first that comes to mind in regards to durability. It is the thickest and heftiest of the line.

The other variants have had some history in durability over time, and some are more questionable in inner layer quality purely by preference of the owner.


The Julia+ is an acceptable equivalent, and if you want a sleeve with the least likely issues of durability, Toys Hearts (at least the ones people mostly comment on) are very durable.

Get a hip for only a few bucks more the cherry 2 blows all the sleeves out of the water I think.
