This looks to be quite interesting and even if it doesn't hold up, I'd like to try it for the novelty since I've never seen anything like this before. I was just wondering if this was a water based lotion? Just curious if it was safe to use on most toys and not just the Superb Fella ones.

Yes it's water based.  I've used with the Boca Del Verita and Magic Face with no problem.  And it's a good value for the size you get.  It usually lasts a whole session without having to be reapplied and is very close to the feeling of actual saliva.  Hope this helps.
