I got a couple of toys and have tried them.  I have the small bottle of lube that comes with the ZXY and some Maria Ozawa lube as well.  Both seem to work about the same, but it's just drying up on the outside too quickly making it harder to penetrate.  I have to keep it slick with spit or water.

Is this normal?  Is there some trick to keeping it slick?

There are a few possibilities. You can rinse the inside and the front a bit with water (some people do it to warm the onahole up as well), so that you have some more liquid to work with. You can also water down the lube from the start, lessens the stickiness and sensitivity, but it might help. Another option is to go for much thicker lubes, they end up staying slick for a longer period of time. The pussy juicy (dumb name, I know) is considered quite amazing in that regard.

What causes a lot of the issue is the material of the onahole itself. Some brands retain lube much longer than others. It really is all a toss up. Experiment and see what works best for you. Personally I like the zxy lube, but do not like the lack of a good applicator for the sample bottle.

The jap lubes are def drying up faster. Just the composition. Use more or reapply

I found the ZXY tricky to keep lubed up, especially in her front end. It just seems like shes more exposed in the lip region than some of the others.  What I do is finger dab some to the deep inside then love the lips inside and out with yuor finger.

Keep you reapplies mostly to the front/lips area. Unless something is really off or you underdid it drastically, the back and middle will stay nice and lovely.

Also, the prewater hint is ultra fantastic, especially with ZXYs included lube (it just needs water from the get go imo) It seems to get a more uniform consistency. I now do this prewet each and every time with my Zxy
