my child recently began complaining that he had pins and needles on his feet. I quickly removed the shoes but couldn’t detect any problem. What caused this? Is the childrens foot wear; I make my kid wear having something to do with it?

Wouldn't you need to give him two?  One for each foot?  Personally, I'd just buy him a pair of crocs.  They're cheaper and he wouldn't get those funny looks walking down the street.
