I don't think 4.5" is too short but I wouldn't use the warmer with it

Don't know how cold your room is. Warm up some lube and spread it real good inside should do it. You can also try to rinse the inside with some warm water first.

By warming the interior of the meiki, you can fill in the lotion in a small container and warm it in a cup of hot water(about 50~60C).  Let stand it for 5~10 min, then you can apply it to meiki to make it life-like temperature.  I always warm the lube in this way while I massage my member until erect
