I got the Maria Ozawa Lotion with a recent order and had seen mostly positive reviews for it.  On my first session using it with ZXY, I was very disappointed.  The lube dries like no tomorrow.  About two minutes using it and I'm dry as paper.  No sweat, I apply a few more drops... another minute or two later, it's completely dry!  I don't understand all the rave about this lube.  The ZXY supposedly retains lube well.  I usually use Peace's Lotion and have tried Sarah and YJY's lotions, the latter two are quite good.  I've even used ID Glide and none of those lubes dried up like Maria's.

I had a suspicion the fragrance may cause a problem and that causes it to dry faster.  Did I miss something?

Might not be using enough lube to start with. Try a squirt instead of a few drops.

I had that problem with the love lotion too. IMO the best lube is Gun Oil, it's long lasting and not very sticky. The love lotion is sticky as hell.

I have tried Astroglide, Gun Oil, and Maria's Lotion on my Maria Meiki, and Maria's Lotion is by far my favorite. The key for me is to run some warm water through the sleeve first to warm it, but also to get the interior wet. I pat the outside dry, but then just lightly shake the inside to get excess water out, but leave some in there. Then I apply a nice amount of the lube and work it down into the toy and I'm good to go. The consistency feels similar to my girlfriend's actual juices, and it seems to last me a good while without having to relube. Without the extra water, however, yes, it dries up very fast!

Yeah, I've tried most of the more common ones, and there's no way I'll ever use anything but Ozawa's.   A modest amount lasts the entire session and feels great......  No idea why your experience was so unlike any I've ever had with the stuff....

Hmm Maria's lube is really the only lube I can stand from TD. All the other lubes I've tried here seem to give me that exactly problem instead. The Miss Ozawa's lube seems to reactivate pretty good when you add a bit of water to it when it starts to dry. In fact I generally prep my toys by running some warm water through the canal before use like djbmp3300 and usually the excess water and lube make for a natural feeling that last a good while. I used to add a bit a water to Maria's lube to but now I just spit or drop a bit a water in the canal if her lube dries too fast.

This is a WATER based lube, so just add WATER lol, never run lube only on a sleeve. Squirt a generous amount, then pour some water in, it wont dry for a while. and if it does squirt more water not more lube. The aroma of the Ozawa lube is a big turn on, (Al tough kinda flowery) but im afraid people will notice i smell like a woman lol
