Rather than call, I went in person to the local P.O. today to inquire as to the whereabouts of this package (small town, friendly and helpful postal clerks) and they found it in a post office 20 miles down the road.  ??  The clerk said it WILL arrive in my town for delivery tomorrow.  He just shook his head sadly and apologized for the delay.   I told him it's not his fault and THANK YOU kind sir!

Well guys, moral of the story is consider FedEx for UPS for your shipping needs if you need fast delivery, LOL.

I'm still getting great service from TD and USPS Priority shipping.  Ordered on the 10th. Sent out on the 11th, and got here on the 13th in time for some weekend fun.

Last time I ordered from ToyDemon - USPS Priority Mail - it took ony 2 days to arrive here in NC.  I believe it shipped from Indiana or Illinois. 

In my experience, it's only items shipped from California that take the usual 5-7 days, and that's because the packages sit in Raleigh or Charlotte for 2-4 days before leaving the sort facility for delivery to my town.  Don't know if it's got anything to do with the prejudice against the "Left Coast State" and "the land of fruits and nuts" as so many here refer to my home state, but it makes me wonder
