After reading about everyone else's tips on how to care for their toys, I figured I would share my own ideas with the group. When I'm done enjoying my Meiki, I wash it out with antibacterial hand soap and water, and then I dry it carefully inside and out with a microfiber cloth.  Next I let it air dry for a short while, and then I put it in a 1 gallon ziplock bag with corn starch in it. I shake it around a few times, and I pull it out to brush off all the extra corn starch.  Finally I store my toy in a Sterilite 2.9 liter food container which I find ideal because they are tapered and the right height.

wow, that looks very well thought out. Any opinions on whether to let them be stores standing up, or laying down?

All those meiki's came standing up in their boxes originally so it's safe to say that it's most likely a good way to store them.

very cool idea and it doesnt look bad at all .. I usually store mine with entrance down but that's because i havnt try the microfiber drying method..i just let it air dry facing down to drain the excess water.. but I might give this storage technique a try! Thumbs UP!

Sorry to bump an old thread but I rather ask here since my question pretains to the topic.

First time buyer here, all excited as I waited for it to arrive, JUST got my first meiki and...I noticed that... I have no idea how to store these away or hide them away? (roommate freely goes in an out of my room on chore days, picks up garbage bin, no reason to rummage through my things...yet)

I cant use a box, not the greatest "shape" to hide.

Would it suffice to store meikis in a zip lock bag after "cleaning"?

Also, (mines still in the packaging because I panicked) are meikis ...uhh "Sticky" I have carpeting in my room and of course a bed,  if I were to drop a meiki would it pick up tons of lint and dust?
In my head Im picturing myself sterilizing my hands, wearing surgeon gloves when I handle the meiki, because I "assume" its made of the same stuff as those sticky balls you used to chuck into the ceiling to see how long it can get stuck there...hehe

I'd recommend getting one of those toy bag in TD. They're very plain and can have different sizes for different sleeves.

For the longest time, I just put my sleeves in a shoebox. Hide it in plain view, but make sure it's annoying to randomly get to it.

I 2nd the bag thing. It's a lot easy to store with those bags, and they ventilate fairly well so you wouldn't have moisture locked in. I just put my meikis in those bags and just put it in a drawer.

not trying to necro, but surprised nobody mentioned this. For me, store my toys in meiki toy bags then lock them away in a metal cash box. I can hold up to 3 toys max with enough space to put 2 small lube bottles that came with the toys and 1 exe lotion bottle. I plan on getting a larger lockable chest for when i get hip toys

I just keep all of my toys and lotion in TD storage bags, then placed in my unused, lockable carry-on luggage, which I keep in the bedroom closet.  As long as it's towards the back of the closet, it won't have to be moved by anyone to get to something else.  I've found this to be a good solution for me so far.

If your luggage is a little too large to store your toy collection in, I would just get a lockable file storage or similar.  It comes in different sizes, so just get the one that fits your needs.  And files are heavy, just like your toy collection, just make sure it isn't see-thru.
