Tips to warm your toys inside & out
« on: January 29, 2011, 08:13:44 AM »
Hey haven't been back in awhile. Other than the Tenga non-electric warming stick, anyone have any other methods in warming up your toys specifically Meiki products such as Nao & XYZ? When winter comes along, the toys feel like ice so I usually put them in warm water for a few minutes but even so the toy still feels cold inside and out which turns me off a bit. I have the Tenga warming stick but it's kind of annoying having to put it in boiling water to reset it after each use. Are there any other Onahole warming products out there and does TD plan to carry any? Thanks.

Here is a tip, fill the inside of the toy with water that is a little bit hotter than body temperature.(Don't fill with too much water or steaming hot water, it might break the toy) Block the entrance of the toy so the water won't come out, hold for 1 minute, then leave the toy in the sink with semi hot water for another 5 min. Works wonders for me.

I use an electric heating pad, made by a company called Sunbeam.  It has a cloth cover, adjustable heat setting and an auto-shutoff.  You have to be very careful not to forget your toy is in it though, otherwise the toy will melt a bit.  Out of all the thousands of times I've used a heating pad for my toys I've only ever melted 2 of them and both times the damage was superficial.  Different toys heat up at different rates so you'll have to experiment on how long to leave the toy wrapped up for.  I always wrap the toy up in a small, clean dish towel first then wrap it in the heating pad.

Understandably, this all sounds like a pain in the ass.  But soaking them in water is also a pain in the ass and much more of a mess.  The heating pad will heat the entire toy all the way to the core, the heat also stays in the toy for quite a while.  It's also much more convenient and discreet, instead of boiling 8 quarts of water on the stove and then soaking the toy for 20 mins, just wrap up the toy in the pad and put it under the bed or pillow.

30sec of penetrating and the toy is as warm as it can get ^^

But yes, I do enjoy entering a warm toy, but its already preparations you have to do beside warming it up, so I kind of skip the heating part.

Pretty much the same with me, I tried the hot water method and its just too much effort and the result isn't much better then using it cold/room temperature.

the best way to warm it up is rather than warm the toy, warm your lube.  If you have any decent water based lube, you can put it in the microwave for 30 seconds.  It will come out just a little too hot to use immediately, so squirt some in your toy and wait a couple minutes.  Then add a little to yourself and its perfect.  the hot oil heats much better than hot water and it feels amazing.
