Ok, some of you here has gotta have this game now?? Anyone?!?! I am getting mine today and I need to catch up on all these new units!!!! Can't wait to play!

I was hoping to get a collector's edition since I've never played the first game, but no one had it, so my interest in the game dwindled.

SC2 is so awesome! I haven't put this game down since I've gotten it.

I got mine too...finally i can put the old SC1 discs away for good after playing it for the past....12 years!!?!?  I had sc2 beta for awhile but never got enough time to play it..other than noticing that the graphics is overclocked on this one...it's almost a brand new game..with new units and almost all the shortcut keys are different from SC1... so for those who never played the first one.. you will get a hang of it much faster.. compared to those of us who have to adjust to the new buttons and units heh,.

Man I used to be a huge gamer but now I hardly play nowadays. I'm still in my early twenties.. I guess working all the time does that to you. I've seen the previews to the new starcraft game but don't have the game console to it.

I'm still old schooling it; I have the original X box and PS2. lol

I think the pricing for both editions are just plain silly and are just raping the loyal fans' wallets. I have been waiting for the release of this game as well, but to my disappointment, only one campaign is available despite its full multiplayer. I know they are split into three installments, but having your fans wait longer than they already have isn't exactly a good way to thank your fans for their loyalty.

I'd have to agree on that...even though I dont even play the single player campaign....after the first mission..i was already bored. lol  but the multiplayer is just plain sick...love it.. pull you back to the good ol days of SC!!

@Thuderhead with regards to the battle chest it probably will not be coming out for another how many years and id probably be expensive too but well worth it IMO. i finished the campaign like 3 times now lol the power of boredom. 

@sextoyjunkie get it if u can run it on ultra. anything lower is BS... my friend has it running on ultra and the difference is ridiculous...
im running it on low cuz my laptop has an AMD processor and a month later i found out the same one came out with a i3/i5 processor

and i agree with HardGay that the Bnet is awsome but the placement system is kinda dumb...
i was placed gold and drop to bronze after like 30 games just because my placement games were all against noobs
best thing to do is to loose all of them on purpose and work your way up.

Actually it does not really matter if you are in bronze or gold, cause you have this hidden real rating, which matches you against equal opponents if you lose too. I find the whole real rating a bit bullshit, its like the public are not ready to see how much they suck.

I find the lower settings of graphics on this game to be much better to play in.

While I'll admit its much easier to distinguish units from each other when the graphics are low, I just love the environment on SC2 on ultra. My MacBookPro is pretty old so the highest I can run is on medium T_T, but I'm taking a break from it. Its kind of hard playing it with a Trackball mouse >.>

They just recently improved BattleNet, but before it was so bad. Couldn't played unless you were online, can't talk to people unless you're about to start a match, and lets face it, people aren't gonna talk right before a battle, and that whole, "upload your maps only on BattleNet" sucks a lot too cause if your map isn't one of the top 100 maps out of......who knows how many, no one will ever know it exists. But other than that, kicks some ass.
