I don't think I'm gonna use the paper towel ball method. Some paper towels leave behind fibers.

My plan is to buy a small cloth that is similar to the "Shamwow".. it's completely lint-free, and absorbs water and moisture super well. Buy a dowel rod, and wrap the cloth around that and shove it in. Or, might not even need the dowel rod. Just hold the cloth with your teeth, then using both hands, hold the toy wide open, and lower the cloth into the opening. Then let go of the toy, and pull the cloth out to dry it. Repeat.

I'll have to try something once I get the Hip tomorrow. I'll post again here once I come up with something I think works well.

A couple of other suggestions re cleaning the hip:

After you think you've shaken all the water out, drop it (I'm serious) with holes facing downward from a height of about a foot, onto a hard clean surface initially, to show just how much water is left in the toy - when dropped, it will collapse under its own weight and eject a surprising amount of water.  After you've tried this experiment, do the drop thing onto a towel instead, to keep from getting splashed and making a mess, and to allow it to smack down onto a softer surface.

I've found that trying to insert a cloth into the hip is difficult due to friction, and I'm concerned about damaging it, so here's my next trick:

Get a peice of food grade tubing, 8" long x 1.5" diameter.
Use a belt sander or a similar method to round the inner and outer edges at one end, the insertion end, to make them smooth.
Put a small amount of lube on the outside of that end.
Push an absorbent cloth or shop towel all the way into the tubing.
Spread the hole and insert the tubing containing the towel.
Use a 12" long by 1" diameter dowel to hold the towel in place while you retract the tubing - it slides out and leaves the cloth in, courtesy of the dowel, which is put aside once the tubing has been extracted.
Squeeze every surface of the hip so that water is forced into the cloth.
Slowly extract the cloth.
Push the tubing back in about three quarters of the way, without the cloth, and use a blow dryer on cool or warm, not hot, to cause some air circulation and drying of the deepest parts of the holes.

These are great toys, but in order for them to last, they will require special care, and I believe the most important part of this is to ensure that they are completely dry before storage.

I just wanted to add, that if anyone is looking for the perfect cloth to absorb water in their extreme/pure hips, then "the absorber" is the perfect towel to use. I picked it up today at an auto parts store. It doesn't mildew and it absorbs 20 times faster than the average paper towel (so they say)  8)

I actually just listened to the Japanese people. Basically I just wash and let it air dry. First I use my fingers to gently drag out most of the...."deposit" lol then I rinse the outside warm water and foam antibacterial soap using a reusable douche bag filled with warm water and soap. After all the soap is rinsed out and off i turn the EPH upside down and lightly shake it with two fingers inserted to let as much water as possible drip out (one hole at a time). Then i dry the outside with a towel. At this point usually I leave it, holes facing down, on top of the towel to air dry till the next use. I have never gotten any off odors nor mold or anything from this method. I did however overestimate how tough the material was the first time cleaning and caused a tear in the anal opening by spreading it too fast (learning experience). I imagine towels and etc being stuck up the canals would over time ruin the hard work put into crafting them so perfectly. So I never put anything in there other then my penis, fingers, and lube. It has been 3 months and so far no problems other then the tear and the indentation left from when I sat it on some mystery object for more then a day (curses mystery object).

my hip has recently got mold for the best use of the word, it still feels great but inside the holes it is abit brown. The problem i have (apart from the mold) is cleaning it is so hard i wash with warm water then squueze excess water out and use a paper towel on the hole yet i cannot reach deep enough to clean it throughly.

Can someone give me a practical solution so i can dry it fully ? Also i have toy cleaner should i spray leave for 30 secs then rinse it out or should i spray and leave it to soak in until next time i use it?
